| A truly beautiful design without any historical connotations, this pattern was fashioned after a compass rose found in a book of ancient mariner’s charts and adapted into another unique, eye catching creation. Working in a #4 cut with beautiful shades of gold and the creamiest of greens, this rug is emerging as my best work to date. As I pull each loop, I imagine how a different colour palette would effect the feel of the design, and I believe that it would be splendid in any combination of rich, complimentary colours. A joy to hook and a treasure to admire for many years to come.
