I just found this in my picture files. Mary Doig hooked this a few years back when she lived in her previous home. It has a bit of everything and needed to be shared. Mary has a fabulous eye for colour and design. Look closely to see all the details and little creatures. The Raccoon in the compost bin, the duck traipsing across the back yard, the hummingbird in the feeder, a cosy fire in front of the Adirondack chairs, Mary and Peter in a powerboat, her hair flying in the wind, the deer in the back field, clothes on the line. So much to see! Great job Mary!

Hi Christine,

Just checking in to your website to see what was new. What a treat to see Mary's finished rug. She was working on it when I lived in Day Spring 11 years ago and hooked with your group in the Bridgewater area. I remember the raccoons in the compost and enjoyed seeing her progress each hooking night. Didn't actually think I'd ever see it finished when I left at the end of that school year. Wonderful work.
