I received this email from Marion Sohlnauer and wanted to share her talent with you. She made this wonderful little bear out of our hand-dyed wool, it looks like our Burnished Autumn Spot or Fall Foliage Spot. Her bears are wonderful! I pulled a few off her website but there are many to see, each one totally different and spilling over with character. Maybe we can help name this little darling.

Last year I when visiting Mahone Bay I also stopped by your store. The variety of fabric is awesome, even though I don’t do rugs or patchwork, but teddy bears. I love experimenting with fabric and bought some dyed wool to make a bear of. I promised to send a picture once it is done. Well, here it is (see attached left). He is a one of a kind and the first bear made after this pattern. He is fully jointed (head, arms and legs) and very posable because of having steel shot in his hands and feet. He still lacks a name, though. I am looking for something Canadian, but haven’t really found something yet.
